Aria Meier

Aria joined RIF in October 2023 and currently serves as the Program Operations Manager on the Finance and Operations Team. In this role, she collaborates with all areas of the organization to manage the physical inventory of books and related items, thereby ensuring our programs have what they need to successfully carry out our mission to help students discover the joy of reading. This includes sourcing books and negotiating contracts with vendors to optimize programmatic content and pricing, ordering and maintaining inventory for our wide variety of programs, and overseeing the accounting and reporting functions related to the purchasing and distribution of our books and supporting materials.  

Prior to joining RIF, Aria served as Controller to a local small business and she has further experience in outsourced accounting, tax, and business advisory services. A Virginia native, she is a proud alumna of the University of Virginia and also holds a Certificate of Accounting from the University of Washington in Seattle. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, fostering and training dogs, and rock climbing.
