Happy Thanksgiving! 

As we enter the holiday season, I wanted to take this opportunity to give thanks to all of you that are committed, as Reading Is Fundamental is, to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to read. 

For over 50 years, RIF has supported children and communities nationwide to create a culture of literacy.  With your help, we have engaged over 1 million volunteers, distributed over 415 million books, and impacted the lives of over 50 million children with books and literacy support.  From books to digital resources, activities and support for parents and teachers, RIF works to inspire a passion for reading and to ensure that kids have the confidence to strive because literacy opens doors to life.   On behalf of Reading Is Fundamental, and the children we serve:

• Thanks for recognizing that reading happens everywhere and that everyone has the right to read.
