Snack Time Meets Story Time: Stauffer’s Simply Animals Launches Nationwide and Announces Partnership with Reading Is Fundamental

As Reading Is Fundamental celebrates 60 years of advancing children’s literacy, we’re proud to team up with Stauffer’s Simply Animals for National Reading Month. Together, we’re bringing snack time and story time together to spark imagination and encourage families to make reading part of their everyday routines. As part of the partnership, Stauffer’s and RIF collaborated on a new book, Bryson’s Rocket Riddles, created to inspire curiosity, playful learning and a love of reading. A portion of the book proceeds will go towards supporting RIF’s literacy programs which will help expand access to books and resources for children nationwide.

Together, our two legacy organizations are coming together to celebrate the joy of reading, inspire imagination, and support the next generation of curious, creative minds.  

A Fresh Look for a Family Favorite 

Stauffer’s Simply Animals reflects a natural evolution of our brand — making it easier to find, easier to love, and even more relevant for today’s families. While the packaging and name have been refreshed, what’s even more important is what is inside. The crackers will be made without high-fructose corn syrup and artificial colors, and produced in a peanut-free facility in the U.S.  

Celebrating 155 Years of Snack Time and 60 Years of Story Time 

This partnership is especially meaningful to us as we celebrate 155 years of Stauffer’s and RIF celebrates 60 years of advancing children’s literacy. 

To commemorate both anniversaries, Simply Animals collaborated with RIF to publish a new children’s book inspired by one of our brand characters, Bryson’s Rocket Riddles.
