Celebrating 60 Years of Book Joy in Memphis
What a day! RIF kicked off our 60th anniversary celebrations at Bookstock, a special reading event held at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library in Memphis. Joined by guest authors and literacy advocates from around Tennessee, RIF enjoyed an unforgettable day of reading fun with book lovers of all ages from the Memphis community. Families who attended enjoyed a book distribution (selecting up to three new books to take home), prize giveaways, live read-alouds from guest authors Alice Faye Duncan and Shidan Youssefian, Skybrary demos, reading activities, and more.
