Bud, Not Buddy

The story of 10-year-old Bud, fom Flint, Michigan, who struggles to find his place in the world after the death of his mother. When his foster home with the Amoses doesn’t work out, he runs away, looking for his father, jazz musician Herman Calloway. He learns more about who he is when he finds Calloway and his jazz band.
