Carry On, Mr. Bowditch

Based on the life of Nathaniel Bowditch, the story focuses on his determination of learn the ins and outs of sea navigation in 18th-century Salem. His hard work resulted in a book about navigation, called The American Practical Navigator--also referred to as the Sailor's Bible.
