Rachel Carson and Her Book That Changed the World

At an early age, Rachel Carson developed a love of nature. Through tough economic times she took care of her family but also pursued a career as a biologist. Her writing allowed her to do both. Aware of the cause and effect of what was happening all around her, she wrote her last book, Silent Spring, which has been credited with beginning the environmental movement.
