Teaching Primary Sources

Wright Brothers Books and Activities

Through grant funding from the Library of Congress, RIF has developed a set of tools and content that explain how to leverage primary sources, children's books and accompanying hands-on activity resources related to the Wright Brothers, flight and aviation. You can incorporate these learnings into your summer reading program or back to school in the fall and translate them to other topic areas! This brief presentation helps educators can learn more about how to identify and use primary sources to support classroom instruction as well as student exploration.
