Where Do Beavers Live?

Beavers live in streams.
They have flat tails.
They are good swimmers.
They have warm fur.

Beavers make dams out of wood.
They cut wood with their sharp front teeth.

Beavers can cut down large trees.
They eat wood, too.

Beavers make dams in the water.
They make them across streams.
One beaver family lives inside each dam.
The dam is their home.
Beaver dams block streams.
They stop the water from flowing.
This forms a pond.
