Check out a book from the library about bugs. Based on the information from your book, predict where you will find certain bugs. Take a walk outside to search for signs of bugs. Once you see a bug or a habitat, make observations. What kind of bug is it? How big is it? Where does it live? How many legs does it have? Make a sketch and write down all your observations. Be careful not to disturb the bugs in their natural habitat!

When you return your book to the library, consider checking out a book about other things you may find in your neighborhood like birds, clouds, or types of buildings.
