RIF’s October Reading Roundup
As the evenings grow cooler and the leaves begin to crunch under foot, we’ve curated the best of RIF’s October literacy resources and support:
Rally to Read 100 Returns
We are thrilled to announce our fourth annual Rally to Read 100, a six-month reading initiative running now until the end of March offering exciting monthly themes anchored on read-alouds from notable authors plus so much more. There are a number of ways you can participate in Rally to Read:
- Take the pledge to read 100 books throughout the campaign (a school, class, family, student – anyone can take the pledge!).
- Tune in to enjoy monthly read-alouds from celebrated authors.
- Explore a variety of reading theme and book activities (perfect for in the classroom or at home!).
Come along as we explore October’s theme, community, celebrating acceptance and inclusion. Join authors Alexandra Garyn and Bryan Reisberg who read their book, Maxine Gets a Job, as well as a reading by author Mihn Lê of his new book, Built to Last. Rally to read today at RallytoRead.org and each month as new read-alouds and activities are added.
