Valarie Lee

Valarie G. Lee Ed.D. received her doctorate in literacy and research methods from the University of Northern Colorado. She brings over 30 years of teaching in secondary English and at Rowan University. She teaches and supervises undergraduate and graduate students tutoring in the Rowan University Reading Clinic in Glassboro, NJ. She co-developed The Literacy Consortium in Southern New Jersey, now in its fifteenth year. Dr. Lee’s research focuses on motivation and reading, adolescent literacy and constructivist professional development.
