Building Character: Having Empathy

In Having Empathy, beginning readers will learn about all the ways they can practice empathy in their daily lives. Vibrant, full-color photos and carefully leveled text engage young readers as they discover how they can build character by being empathetic. An activity encourages social and emotional learning by asking readers to identify and understand different feelings, while a picture glossary reinforces new vocabulary.
