Pink and Say

Pink, an African-American Yankee soldier, rescues Say, a white Yankee soldier, after he was wounded on the battlefield. Pink brings Say home to Georgia, where he and his mother, Moe Moe Bay nurse Say back to health. Then, Confederate soldiers raid the house and differences in how black and white people are treated become clear.
